Overweight Surcharge on Asia and India to Africa trades Tuesday, October 09, 2018
In a continued effort to provide our customers with reliable and efficient service, CMA CGM wishes to inform of the following Overweight Surcharge (OWS)
Effective October 22nd, 2018 (B/L date):

- ANF’s are always sent to either the consignee or notify party, if a customer’s name is not listed on the BL then they will not receive the ANF.
- A release letter / letter of subrogation is always required directly from the consignee when the clearing agent’s name does not appear on the BL.
- Should there be any situations / circumstances where we receive requests to waiver charges, unfortunately we cannot waiver any additional charges especially terminal storage as this is back to back without any mark up on it.
